vip edge-workers new

Add a new worker to an edge-workers project.

Usage

vip edge-workers new [options]

Options

Option	Description
-h, --help	Retrieve a description, examples, and available options for a (sub)command. (default: false)
-v, --version	Retrieve the version number of VIP-CLI currently installed on the local machine. (default: false)
-d, --debug [value]	Generate verbose output during command execution to help identify or fix errors or bugs.
-p, --path [value]	Path to the edge-workers project. Defaults to auto-discovery.
-l, --location [value]	Only run the worker on matching request paths, as “:”. Operators: contains, equals, starts_with, ends_with.

Examples

- Add a new worker named "add-security-headers" to the current project.
$ vip edge-workers new add-security-headers

- Add a worker to a project at a specific path.
$ vip edge-workers new my-worker --path ./infra/edge

- Add a worker that only runs on request paths under /api/.
$ vip edge-workers new api-auth --location starts_with:/api/
