wp-parsely features

When wp-parsely is enabled, the Parse.ly JavaScript tracker code is automatically added to all of a site’s pages. The Parse.ly tracker is a small JavaScript code that monitors user visits and relays that data to the Parse.ly analytics servers.

As historical data collection for a site grows over time, Parse.ly features provide content creators more valuable insights on the performance of their content. Some of those features, such as the Content Helper, are accessible to all WPVIP sites without a paid Parse.ly contract. Other features, such as a site’s Parse.ly Dashboard, are only accessible with a paid Parse.ly contract.

Features accessible to all WordPress sites on WPVIP

For WordPress sites on the WPVIP Platform that have wp-parsely enabled:

Features accessible only with a paid Parse.ly contract

  • The Parse.ly Dashboard is where the collected data for a site is visualized. The dashboard provides content analytics and insights, and users can access real-time or historical data to learn more about content performance via a number of aspects.
  • The Parse.ly Data Pipeline (DPL) makes it possible to access real-time user interaction data that can be used to build in-house analytics websites or mobile applications.
  • The Parse.ly API provides multiple endpoints for customers to access their analytics data, metrics, metadata, and recommendations.

VIP customers interested in finding out more about the Parse.ly Dashboard and other features available with a paid Parse.ly contract should reach out to their Relationship Manager or submit a demo request.
