# New Relic

[New Relic](https://newrelic.com/) is an application performance monitoring (APM)
tool used to monitor the code and browser performance [for WordPress environments](https://docs.wpvip.com/new-relic-for-wordpress/)
or [for Node.js environments](https://docs.wpvip.com/new-relic-for-node-js/). New
Relic is an [Integration](https://docs.wpvip.com/integrations/) that can be [added to an organization](https://docs.wpvip.com/integrations/center/add-an-integration/)
then activated on any application environment.

An organization can [add or remove user access for an application’s New Relic dashboard](https://docs.wpvip.com/manage-user-access/new-relic/)
within the App Integrations panel for the New Relic Integration.
